To link the hub, or devices, you might need to input the device’s serial number. This can be done by scanning the QR code on the back of the device.
- Point your camera to the serial number
- Move back and forward to help your camera focus on the QR code
- Once the code is scanned, the next screen will be shown automatically
If your camera cannot focus on the code, you can still enter the code manually by tapping on “enter code manually”. This will take you to a screen where you can enter the last 8 characters of the serial number, which you can find on the back of the device.
It is a 16 character code consisting of 4 groups of 4 characters with the label ‘SN’ nearby.

Why do I need to give access to my camera and video?
In order to connect your hub to your personal account, we need to identify the hub that you are installing. We made that process easier by giving you the ability to scan the QR code on the back of the devices. Jane will not use your camera for anything other than the scanning of these QR codes.
Nothing happens if I scan the code.
It might be that the software does not recognise the QR code. In this case, we propose that you manually enter the serial number of the hub on your phone.
